CSI 10/13 - "Feeling the Heat"

THE CSI TEAM INVESTGATES THREE DIFFERENT HEAT-RELATED DEATHS, ON "CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION," THURSDAY, OCT. 23

Ryan Starr ("American Idol") Will Guest Star

"Feeling the Heat " -- The CSI team is on high alert as the hot Las Vegas desert causes many heat-related deaths, on CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION Thursday, Oct. 23 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Ken Fink directed the episode from a script by Anthony E. Zuiker, one of the series’ executive producers, and Eli Talbert.

Ryan Starr ("American Idol") guest stars as a young woman found washed up on the beach in the case Sara and Nick are investigating.

As temperatures soar in Las Vegas, the CSIs investigate three heat-related concurrent cases: a dead child who was left in a car with the windows sealed, a young woman found drowned while trying to cool off at Lake Mojave and a dead couch potato who appears to have suffered heat stroke. The team must determine if the causes of death are heat or murder.

The perfect role for Ryan. Washed up, just like her singing career.

    (ouch!)

    Wow. Sounds cool.

I never really got around to watching AI. Seemed like a bore except for the audition coverage.

Oh my gosh. A man just left his son in a 145 degree car. This is disturbing.
ugh. I don't get time to watch TV anymore, much less hang out at the FORT.

But don't you worry, I'll be back in full force on or about November 3rd.

As soon as I saw the previews for this episode, I had my husband turn it.....I just could not bear to watch it (even though I know it's just TV). I hear too many true stories every summer of people leaving their kids in cars to die from the heat. I just can't stomach it.

The baby incident was disturbing, all the more so because we know it happens with children and pets every year.

What a sad episode. It was heartbreaking to watch.

I'm not even sure which character Ryan Starr was in the show!

She was the dead girl that washed up on the beach, but I didn't recognise her.
