I have a feeling I am going to really dislike where the finale episode is going.

I smell a cliffhanger. Will next season open with Gibbs on trial?

What has that got to do with bringing Gibbs down? Just very bizarre episode.
Who is the actor who plays the Attorney General guy? I've seen him somewhere before....

He sorta looked like a younger skinner McGee...maybe Tim's long lost younger nastier brother?

The actor is Tom Hank's son, Colin.

He is making a nice name for himself in the acting world.

Thanks, Arielflies---the only thing he's been in that I'd likely remember him from was Roswell, but I can't place him from that. I agree, Bearcata, he looks a LOT like McGee! Enough so that at times I thought he was McGee for a second--I wonder if they are related---I swear if I were them I'd being doing some blood tests! He also looks like his dad in a sort of mirror warped way... Hmm I would have thought I'd have seen him in something more recent...but maybe it's just that he looks like McGee, especially around the mouth.

    Powerful season finale.

Enjoyed seeing AJ (from JAG) again.

Not sure what happened. The FBI was involved? I thought they only mentioned CIA but said the problem was here at home (which might suggest FBI involvement instead).

    O.M.G.

The four months later ending is probably the start of next season.

I'm going to have to watch again as it was confusing. For those who haven't seen it yet - spoiler tags.

The only point clarified was that Elian did not kill the Syrian as assumed. He always said all was not what it seemed, but Ziva took him out before he could explain. Not clarified - why did the three resign? What was the point? Love the vague writing - not.

I later decided the four month period is how next season will start, as you suggested.

They call him McGee's doppelganger on the show!
