Yes, those Marines at the door grabs your heart and squeezes it.
Glad they didn't kill off Gibbs. He really is the main reason I watch. Love Abby's quirkiness, but it would not keep me coming back week after week if Jethro wasn't around.

Kate! I loved, loved, loved that she was back. It made me smile to see in that alternateverse Kate and Tony got married and had a baby. I didn't realize how much I missed Kate on the show. As much as I love Ziva, I wish there was a way to have both of them on the show.
The writer put up a post about the show at Season Nine: "Life Before His Eyes" - NCIS - CBS.com. It's got spoilers ;-)
I loved the beginning sequence.
I loved Jamie Lee Curtis on the show. She's supposed to be on next week's episode as well. I hope they bring her back for future episodes as well.
Think Jamie Lee and Mark would have good chemistry. But also if Mark left NCIS, the show would leave with him as well. No Mark means no NCIS!
I'm a little concerned that the new agent last night will be a replacement for Dinozo or McGee. :-( Or even worse, Gibbs, which I guess could let Tony be promoted.
I was wondering how in the heck the Russians even knew about the Chief's pace maker and how did they know he was in trouble and going to court and the convoluted way they killed him seemed a bit much.
I would like it if perphaps Tony was given him own team but in the same bullpen and there was a bit of competition between his team and Gibbs.
I fear they're building towards their end-of-the-season purging of one or more characters. Has anyone heard anything? Perhaps Ducky? (Is the Boy from Uncle finally retiring?)
I wasn't sure from the timeline. Did we miss out on Abby's bachelor party plans, the ones she was reduced to sharing with just Jimmy?
It seems like all the shows are losing "important/main/consistent" characters (NCIS, NCSI:LA, Grey's, Hawaii 5-0, etc).
I'm finding myself liking the more serialized nature of the show lately. Though that means missing an episode is out of the question (which is fine by me!).
Darn! It's going to be a long summer. :-(
