ON "CSI: MIAMI," MONDAY, OCT. 20

Comedian Jay Mohr ("Action") and John Heard ("Home Alone") Guest Star

"The Best Defense" -- When a robbery/homicide leaves two men dead and a third still alive, Horatio is determined to find out what really happened, on CSI: MIAMI, Monday, Oct. 20 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Scott Lautanen directed the episode written by Shane Brennan.

The two owners of the bar where the crime took place are dead and the third victim, Ricky Murdoch, says that a masked gunman entered and started shooting. The CSIs find that Ricky's story has holes in it, but his lawyer (guest star Jay Mohr, "Action") derails the investigation, challenging Horatio to provide evidence of his client's guilt. Now, the CSIs have the burden of proof and must find the evidence in order to put the real killer behind bars. Meanwhile, Calleigh's father (guest star John Heard, "Home Alone") begins working a case as a public defender; however, his daughter's advice to follow the evidence might not have the desired result.
