    CSI 10/09 - "Homebodies"

THE CSI TEAM INVESTIGATES TWO SEEMINGLY RELATED HOME INVASION CASES, ON "CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION,"
    THURSDAY, OCT. 9

"Homebodies" -- The CSIs investigate two different home invasion cases where the evidence has eerie similarities, on CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION Thursday, Oct. 9 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network. Ken Fink directed the episode from a script by Naren Shankar and Sarah Goldfinger.

When Grissom and Warrick arrive at a burglary scene, they are shocked to discover the mummified corpse of an elderly woman locked in a closet from a prior home invasion. Meanwhile, across town, Nick and Sara are called to a house to investigate a reported break-in. At the scene they discover eerily similar evidence to Grissom’s case and conclude that the cases are related and that both were victims of a home invasion. Also, Catherine investigates a young child who shot himself in the foot with a gun found in his yard.

This episode was pretty good in my opinion. The mummifed corpse freaked the hell out of me when I first saw it on the screen. As a side note, I'm pretty sure that Jorga Fox is pregnant in real life.

This ep gave me nightmares last night. I stayed up way too late watching it.

Good overall. But creepy. And the end made me cry.

The girl wouldn't pick the second bad guy out of a lineup, even though they all knew who he was. So they couldn't arrest him. And then, at the end, the girl was lying dead in her driveway.

It was horrible, Cali. She knew it was him, and everyone there knew it was him because she froze, but she wouldn't write the number down on the paper.

Brass comes to Grissom's "office" and says, "grab your bag" and they go to the home where the parents are standing to the side and the girl has been shot in the driveway. Leaving us to assume that the rapist after being released, goes to her home and kills her.

It was horrible. I cried too, and coulnd't sleep well.
