Me too, cali. Like someone mentioned maybe she got the job in the bookshop so that it would help catch the serial killer. I think she got the job because it pushed her brother into changing his thinking about his own capabilities.

Another good episode. I'm glad the older bro is happy with his car. I only wish he had more confidence with that woman at the fast food window. I'm liking this show.

It's amazing how he looks like his father, John Ritter. He's a very good actor, as well as the girl playing Joan.

I loved it when God would identify himself to Joan, and she would say, "Why do you have to be so mean?" I thought that was darling.

I had to laugh for all the FORT'ers who have been hanging around in the grammar thread in the Books forum at this exchange:

Joan: that's so anti-climatic.
God: Anti-climactic.
Joan: What?
God: Anti-cli-maCK-tic. Anti-climatic means you're against the weather.

that, and when her dad said something along the lines of “It’s not a sin against God to turn off the TV” and later when God told Joan that her dad would burn in hell for turning him off

I too wish her brother (I'll get the manes one day) had been able to say yes to a date with the girl. I would imagine it would be hard though knowing she doesn't know he's in the wheelchair.

I really like all the characters, that’s an odd occurrence for TV shows lately.

Yeah, I love this show. It's wierd because I normally don't have time with everything else to follow shows. I'm lucky to follow all the reality shows, but I saw commercials for this and kept telling myself I had to watch this one and after just 2 episodes, I'm hooked.
