the episode with Ramsey was really powerful. I like this show despite my usual avoidance of anything remotely religious.

I really enjoyed that episode but while I was watching TV downtown Van with some friends at Sammy J's and I noticed Ramsey is in a commercial for a PS2 game. I'm not sure of the name of the game but the one of many commercials for the game he is in is with the metal detector where they throw the can and it comes back sticks to the can...then the trailer and everything starts coming towards the detector and him and another guy scramble to turn it off. If you ever see this commercial look for "Ramsey" behind the gun. When I saw this I said out loud, "Hey thats Ramsey" and my friends looked at me like I was a moron lol

i thought the ramsey episode was awesome. i just thought it was good until the end when god pointed out who all would have died.... then MAN! greatness! i was bawling. i am so glad that someone has written a moving, interesting and entertaining show in a world that seems to be condemned to the same old stuff.

I've seen that Ramsey kid around...

This show is so well-written. I loved how they discussed the Heisenberg principle which echoed what Joan was going through. Just by observing you change what's being observed. So what's true for subatomic particles is true for humans.

I agree Sher, in a world where Yes, Dear keeps getting renewed it's amazing to see that network television can be so uplifting and thought provoking.

I really enjoyed this episode. I was kinda hoping that the kid wasn't going to have to goto jail, but that Joan's simple interest would cause him to calm down and not be so hostile toward others.

He looked very familiar to me, too, and then I realized who he is. He is Frederick Koehler, the actor who played the son on the old sitcom Kate & Allie (except I think he was billed as "Freddy Koehler" then). He's also been in recent movies like "Pearl Harbor" and "Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood".

Here is his Internet Movie Database listing.
