If Victor has amnesia, is he any more mentally fit than shoplifting Sharon to lead the company? For that matter, is Nick sane for believing everything crazy Phyllis tells him? Should he be running things? At this point the only one who's relatively stable is Adam. I vote Adam for CEO.

I'm not buyin the whole "Victor has amnesia" crapola. Reminds me way too much of when Victor was being nice to Jack and doing flower arranging. It was a sham then and I'm putting my nickels on it being a sham again. Victor Newman has amnesia? I call BalderdaSh.

Personally I find these humane mouse traps rather ineffective. Better to lay down some glue and when you hear the critter scream you take a shovel to his head.

I got the impression that he, genuinely, did not recognize Genevieve (sp?). Maybe it's Alzheimer's?

He forgets all the time! Those long pauses, those oft-repeated lines..."I'll be damned!" or "Is that right!". Y&R writers can be lazy but they're not that bad - those are Victor-isms that he says when he can't remember his lines. He must be loving this "amnesia" storyline.

I don't think he's faking it this time, btw. I think it's a result of the Battle Royale outside the bar a week or two ago...when the bartender told him to see a doctor. He's been weird ever since.

    Celebrity sighting!
This afternoon I was in Ulta and bumped right into Yvonne Zima (Daisy). She was there with one of her sisters and her mother, in the prestige cosmetics/skin-care section.
