There will be no Angel until April 14. Instead, the WB's having people vote for their fav Smallville episode for reruns. Grrr....

I too have read about SMG saying she might do Angel. In an interview I read, she said she couldn't do it before because of her movie and because her aunt died, causing family stuff. The latest thing I've read is that she's contacted producers. I also read Michelle Trachtenberg is probably gonna be in an episode. Lastly, I've read things saying that Alyson Hannigan is taking time off, possibly for an Angel appearance, and some people are saying Eliza Dushku might do Angel. I don't know what's all verified though.

Maybe if we are lucky ..Spike will get his own show!!!

As much as I truly love all things Spike, I wonder if he could carry his own show. All I know is that he is awesomely entertaining in the bits that we get of him on Buffy and Angel.

And, in answer to above, choosing between Angel and Spike is practically cruel. Angel is love-at-first-sight, gorgeous and broodingly deserving of happiness. But, Spike is the one who came from nowhere (disgust) to win Buffy's trust and devotion and love. Spike's reaction to Buffy's death was more from "true love" than Angel's. Afterall, Angel fell in love with Cordelia and yet Spike remained true even when his love appeared unrequited. Angel was cursed with his soul but Spike, even in his evil-ness, got his for Buffy. This from someone who was a big Angel fan and initially annoyed that Buffy took up with evil-just-chipped Spike in the first place.

The reason that a part of me doesn't want to know who she will pick is because I think Buffy will choose Angel. But, I trust Joss Whedon to write a poignant good-bye to Spike and a winning embrace of Angel.

Maybe we can have Spike take a trip around the world to find a Buffy replacement...getting into trouble along the way(and helping other people while he is at it).

I just can't fathom not getting my Spike addiction when Angel leaves! I would also hate to have Buffy make a choice, because I know Spike would end up broken-hearted! And I was (and in many ways still am) a huge Angel/Buffy fan. Sigh. I'm dreading the Season Finale.
