    Re: Winter-Spring 2017 TV Shows

There isn't much on the Fall list that's really blowing my skirts up.

Outlander, Supernatural, Scorpion and Versailles for my returning shows.

I might check out The Brave (with the yummy Mike Vogel), Mavel's Inhumans, Seal Team (David Boreanaz - good on him for getting a new series right after Bones) and The Gifted but otherwise, I don't really feel too excited about this season of TV.

Oh - I watched The Orville last night and I don't know if I can adequately express how excruciating it was to watch. It wasn't funny, it wasn't dramatic, it wasn't interesting and the FX were on the level of 90's Power Rangers tv shows. It wasn't even campy, it was just awful.

<---crossing The Orville off my watch list...

I was looking forward to that one, too. But if it sucks that much, no.

I tried The Orville as well and lasted somewhere around half an hour. It really is cringeworthy even for a fantasy fanatic.

The week of the 25th seems to be kickoff week for a lot of shows.

We lasted the whole episode but I don't think we will watch it again. It couldn't seem to decide if it wasn't taking itself seriously or it was. Whatever it was doing just didn't work for us.

Tracy Morgan's 'The Last OG' was filming in my neighborhood...so I have to check it out.

    Re: Fall 2017 TV Season

I'm watching The Orville right now. I love Seth McFarlane and am a fan of several other cast members, so I'm going to give it a chance - at least a few episodes. Sometimes it takes a few episodes for a series to hit its stride.

There aren't very many new shows that I'm looking forward to. I'll watch The Gifted solely because of Stephen Moyer and Amy Acker and the preview for Me, Myself and I convinced me to give it a shot. Most of the shows I'm excited about are on Netflix or other "alternative" networks: The Punisher, Mindhunter, and Star Trek: Discovery.

I'll probably watch a bunch of the news shows, as usual, and then (as usual) will end up sticking with 2 or 3 of them.

Totally underwhelmed...gives me a chance to finish my to watch list on my DVR and Netflix.

Concur with others The Orville falls flat.
