I don't handle gruesome very well, momrek, but since I know what to expect in this story I'm going to have to tough it out for some of the scenes if they get too bad. I mean, this is a Ryan Murphy project afterall, and even though he's known for his involvement with Glee, he's also known for American Horror Story.

You know what I found out the other day? Ronnie, Cunanan's hotel buddy in Miami, is played by Max Greenfield who played Schmidt in the TV sitcom New Girl. He's another actor who looks totally different in this movie. I had no idea that was him. Here, I was looking right at him watching the show and I didn't make the connection.

Cunanan is actually considered to be a Spree Killer. Someone who has never killed before and goes on a spree of killing before he is stopped.

Even from all I read about the crime before, I never knew that Cunanan had known Miglin and had been an 'escort' for him in the past.

Last night's episode was a tough one to watch. I knew Cunanan had killed a guy who no longer wanted to be with him, but I didn't know he had also kidnapped him. That episode brought back memories about when Giovanni did that to me. They didn't say how many days Cunanan held David Madson against his will. For me it was three.

Other than the hammer attack, the rest of Cunanan's demeanor seemed so passive, yet I could feel every terrified moment that guy David felt in the shower, in the truck, in the bar -- and in the field when he knew what was about to happen. That whole episode gave me chills. Next Thursday will mark the 10th anniversary since my own Cunanan-like moment, so next Wednesday's episode will probably be another trigger.
