    BIG LITTLE LIES on HBO!

Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman and Shailene Woodley star in this series about three mothers whose lives unravel to the point of murder.

We don't yet know who was murdered, do we?

I don't think so. I was thinking it was Reese Witherspoon's character, just from how the police were saying she always had to get herself involved in stuff.

I really enjoyed the episode but hubby hated it. He does NOT enjoy shows that jump back and forth time-wise, which is why he doesn't like This Is Us.

No not yet and I am guessing we won't know until the season is about over.

What's up with Celeste's (NK) hubby, he has anger problems. ugh.
He goes from being this loving hubby and dad to ANGRY.

And Jane's son, Ziggy. Do you think he choked the little girl?
The way the first grade teacher handled that whole situation with the apology was lame.
Jane, at this point, does not seem like she fits in with that 'uppity' Monterey crowd.

I loved SW (Jane) and ZK (Bonnie) both in the 'INSURGENT' series. Now they are together in this show.

I was glad when Madeline's daughter, Abigail had that lovely Mom/Daughter convo!

Madeline's little one, Chloe is a riot!!!

We don't have HBO...but I do have a hold on the book.
    Enjoy!

Gee, momrek, you know all the characters' names already.

I like Laura Dern but the whole thing was mishandled about choking incident. Not sure whether Ziggy did it but what an angelic face he has!

Abigail seemed a bit off when we were introduced to her before school began; I have no idea why she would accuse Ziggy if he didn't do it.

Nicole looked very good...better than she has in a long time, IMO. Her plastic surgery ruined her
beauty, IMO, but she looked much better tonight. Yikes to the hubby, though. Talk about a Jekyll and Hyde!

And sorry to disagree but I did NOT like Chloe. I know some kids are precocious but no way did she act 6. She was acting very bratty, IMO.

I loved the first episode! I absolutely loved the book, and from the first episode it seems they are sticking to it closely. Since I have read it I won't say much, but ECM, encourage your hubby to forgive the time jumping. This doesn't do it to the level of This Is Us. It's just to establish we know there was a murder but don't know who died or who did it. Other than that it stays in the same time span.

Re: BIG LITTLE LIES on HBO

I read the book last year. I really enjoyed it and when I saw an ad for it recently, I didn't realize it was on HBO, which we don't have. Bummer.

Apparently no witnesses. I wonder if it was self-mutilation.
