Yeah, you already pay the cable company to get CBS proper and CBS wants you to pay more now for digital exclusive content? No. I wonder what the airing option will be in Canada as we don't have CBS online. Hopefully it is picked up for regular tv here.

Well, I'll watch the "intro"episode on regular CBS, but as with most here, not paying more money!

For the Canadians, the show will be airing on W Network.

Re: The Good Fight (Good Wife spinoff) - CBS All Access

The first two episodes were posted at CBS All Access earlier tonight.

It's good, much in the way The Good Wife was good. The show is just as much about Rose Leslie's character Maya as it is about Diane Lockhart. The first episode sets up the premise well, and we see plenty of the old law firm gang in the first episode -- but I think that's it for David Lee and the old senile guy. Lucca and Eli's daughter are permanent cast members who are set up at Diane's new firm. We see Denis O'Haire's great judge character again, and Christine Lahti's evil lawyer in the 2nd episode.

One funny scene had Lucca making a phone call to get information, using a "fake" British accent (it's funny because the actress playing Lucca is actually British). Rose Leslie is British as well (Gwen the maid from Downton Abbey, Ygritte in Game of Thrones) and her American accent is mostly passable.

I was already subscribed to All Access so I don't really care about the issue of it only being viewable that way. But it's a good enough show that I'll keep checking it out as new episodes come out.

I enjoyed the first episode (they only showed the first here). It is also on itunes (at least in Canada) if anyone wants to go that route.

I had NO idea that Lucca (Cush Jumbo) was British IRL. I enjoyed the episode but don't want to pay the extra $$$ for CBS all access. Cable TV is expensive enough already.

I did watch the first episode on regular CBS television. I thought it was very good and I'd continue to watch if it continued to be shown each week on regular network television. I'm not subscribing to All Access right now. It's not all that expensive but I don't necessarily enjoy watching a nighttime television drama on my desktop computer screen. Nah! Not for me.

Again, I DID enjoy the first episode. Seems like a good show.

There are subtle differences between the premiere episode that aired on CBS and the one on All Access. The All Access episode is a few minutes longer, and they use stronger cuss words. When Diane finds out she's broke, on TV she said something like "sonofabitch" but in the online version she yells the F-word.

This is such a total ripoff and it ticks me off. I would very much like to watch this show. But yes, I already pay so much for Directv, I just cannot rationalize it. Plus if I have to watch via computer, forget it. We paid a lot for our big screen TV and that is how I want to watch my TV shows! So even if it was free, I probably would not watch.
