I think that there will be some great performances tonight by all of the finalists. The show is only an hour, but maybe they'll squeeze in some of the eliminated bands. I think I would rather see Franklin Bridge and Dot Dot Dot again rather than the Goo Goo Dolls.

Seems the young pre-adolescent voters don't think about talent.
They vote only as there pre-pubescent hormones dictate.

Sixwire can shame almost of todays musicians.
Including the Clark Bro's who couldn't make it on TV a few years ago.

Clark Bro's are only a fantasy of young pre/early teen girls.

I think you are way off base. If it was the pre - adolescent voters that swayed this competiton, why is it that they didn't sway it towards Light of Doom? Afterall, that would be their contrmporaries. You are obviously irritated that Sixwire didn't win, & I can understand that, but I think that someone will sign them & we will hear from them in the not to distant future.

Interesting perspective - I never considered that the Clarks may have garnered votes from the younger set. I also assumed that LOD were getting the preteen/teen vote.

Sixwire is great at what they do. But, it's worth remembering that they WERE signed to a record label, and were subsequently dropped. I have no special knowledge of the workings of the music industry, and I don't think that they were dropped due to lack of musical talent. Certainly they're as good as anything I've heard on country radio. Frankly, I'm surprised they didn't win, as I didn't (and don't) believe the Clarks sound is as accessible. The Clarks were far and away my favourites throughout the entire competition, but that's a matter of personal taste (although I also think they're exceptional musicians).
