Nancy O'Dell is the Hollywood-slick host of the syndicated Access Hollywood show and the new USA Network talent show Nashville Star. Once the cameras are off, O'Dell is the sweet Southern girl her South Carolinian parents raised her to be, serving on boards for the American Red Cross, Best Buddies and others. And yes, sweet girls can be boy crazy, too.

Five deserted-island discs

1. Sensual Sensual, B-Tribe. It's very exotic. I like a lot of instruments. It tends to make me feel, well . . . sensual.

2. Rumours, Fleetwood Mac. One of my all-time favorites. Of course I knew all the songs, but I got it for the first time four or five years ago. I think I bought it after I interviewed Stevie Nicks. Then I played it nonstop.

3. Sevens, Garth Brooks. It's a toss up between that and Double Live. Every song on there spoke to me. I just played it over and over and over and over and wore it out.

4. Eden, Broadway singer Sarah Brightman. You need something to relax.

5. Nashville Star: The Finalists. I need to promote my show. And I'm in love with all the contestants and it brings back fond memories every time I listen to it.

Five things I can't live without

1. The love of my mom and dad. If you had to make a blueprint of perfect parents, mine are it.

2. A good massage. I work way too much to go without. I like it deep.

3. Bubble bath. It's all relaxing for me.

4. My palm pilot/cell phone. I would be at a complete loss.

5. Men. Sometimes I get extremely frustrated with them, especially when they don't communicate properly, but when they do communicate, I'm done. It's awesome.

The three sexiest people alive

1. Richard Gere. He is so intelligent, he is so intense and when you talk to him, he looks you directly in the eye and he makes me blush all over. I've had a crush on him since An Officer and a Gentleman.

2. Bruce Springsteen. I have a thing for musicians, first of all. When he sings, he's just very sexy — and I hear he's a nice family man.

3. Steven Tyler (of Aerosmith). He's so funny. Then there's the musician thing. And he's a bad boy. I tend to like guys with a little edge.
