| He got on Brandi's case for selecting a song that made her a "victim." Said she's too strong a woman to sing "that codependent $#!+". Anyway, that's what I heard.

| After last weeks show I said that I was getting more and more uncomfortable with Robert's comments. During this show, I actually found myself cringing before he even said anything. People compare his negative comments to Simon, but I don't see any Simon in him. When Simon says something, either negative or positive, it comes across as well thought out and composed. Robert's comments flail around like a drowning man. The man can't even give a compliment without putting his foot in his mouth. At first I felt sorry for him. Now I just hope he gets lost at sea and they bring in someone else.

| That's what I've been saying for weeks. The guy is a nervous twit who compulsively spews stupid words. Will the judges still be on-hand now that the voting is completely out of their control?

| I think they will still be there in an AI type capacity so they can steer the voting .

| Having never watched AI, I had no idea the judges hung around uselessly and offered their commentary after being de-clawed.

| Of course! You wouldn't expect them to think we could decide who our favorites are - on our own, would you? ![]()

| You know, I've never watched a show where the viewers pick who stays and who goes. I'm not sure I like relying on all these other voters to get it "right". It's somehow easier to stomach a favorite player being asked to leave a show when the players within the game are handling the ejections. When it's in the viewer's hands, "mistakes" will happen that somehow feel more controllable.Isn't that weird? ![]()

| Not at all. I totally see where you're coming from. With this kind of talent competition though, it's not really a matter of who "I" like the most, it's a matter of who will make the most money for the record company. The one with the most calls will more than likey be the one to make that happen, (at least in the short run). I'm fine with that. I just hope that the people that I consider to be the most talented get plenty of exposure from the show so they can direct their own careers and find success. I'm sure the "winner" will be under the thumb of Sony Nashville for years to come. That might not be what's best for all of the contestants. Of course, that doesn't mean I won't be rooting for my favorites to move ahead in the competition. ![]()
