Matt Mason - Season 4

Matt Mason is the second contestant (Nicole Jamrose) from this year's group who hails from Indiana -- Fairland, Indiana, to be exact. Matt got his start on the mic at age 12 and remembers the first album he ever bought as being by Johnny Cash. Like the Man in Black, Matt also plays guitar.
Matt has found the right avenue in Nashville Star to pursue his dream of making it as a country artist. His dream duet would've been to share the stage with Waylon Jennings, but Merle Haggard is a close second. Honest and dependable is how Matt describes himself, something that surely makes his hero, grandpa Wallace, very proud.

Wow, I think Matt is quite the Hottie after his performance last night!! He has gorgeous eyes & is very good looking.

I thought his performance was really good, can't wait to hear more from him as the show progresses.

I was in Nashville in October and we stopped in Tootsies Orcid Lounge~ and Matt was playing! He was SO good~ my sister grabbed him coming out of the bathroom, and we got our picture taken w/ him.....something about him made me think he would be "something" someday~
So when I saw him on NS I was so excited! I'm rooting for him!

There are a couple other contestants on this year's show that also play at Tootsie's fairly regularly.

Matt is my second favorite, I think he will stick around for quite a while on this show!

I would like to know what everybody thinks of Matt Mason. He is from Fairland, Indiana; which is in the county that I live in. I think he sounds alot like Randy Travis.
