Where Was Last Year's Winner?

We got a visit from Buddy Jewel, but unless I missed it, Brad Cotter was a no-show. And since I think he's dreamy, I was sorely disappointed.
What gives?

I haven't heard a thing about him since he won. Saw a video about 2 times, never heard him on the radio. I never thought he was all that great anyway, didn't miss him.

I think Buddy Jewel is a great singer, I have all cd's he has made.
