I missed Jason dedicating his performance to Chris LeDoux? I would have cried too.
I got home just in time to see Christy leave and saw Jody sing. What was up with his vibrato? weird.

Happy with tonight's result.
And I thought Tamika was excellent.
Quick run down of tonights songs and performance order:
Jenny: Lesson in Leaving - Dottie West
Jayron: Modern Day Bonnie and Clyde - Travis Tritt
Justin: Tennessee Plates - John Hiatt
Erika Jo: Texas (When I Die) - Tanya Tucker
Jason: What's Your Name - Lynyrd Skynyrd
Tamika: When God Fearing Women Get The Blues - Martina McBride
Casey: Me & Bobby McGee - Janis Joplin
Jody: I Fought The Law - Bobby Fuller
Christy went home.
Me too! Tamika was easily the best performance of the night, IMO.

I think the two younger girls were the weakest tonight: Erika Jo and Casey
Cy Young 2010
I thought Casey was by far the weakest. The funniest thing to me was the judges calling Me and Bobby McGee a Janis Joplin song. Her version is the most famous (and awesome) but the thing that makes it qualify as a country song is that it was written and performed by Kris Kristoffersen first.
With that attitute, he won't be making it to the final.

I agree with you guys that Casey's performance was probably the worst tonight, but Justin's attitude may get him voted off... frankly I don't think I would've cared how he sounded after hearing his speech, I think this competition has already gone to his head.
I'm definitely coming around to liking Tamika after tonight's performance. Very few singers can pull off a Martina McBride song like that, so Tamika really showcased her voice tonight.
Of course I loved Jason's performance, and frankly I was a bit surprised that there weren't anyone else that paid a tribute to Chris LeDoux in their videos. It's a big country music icon that has been lost on us, and I'm just puzzled why nobody else had a dedication, at least in their video comments.
Here's how I'm ranking this week's performances:
1. Tamika Tyler
2. Jayron Weaver
3. Jenny Farrell
4. Jason Meadows
5. Erica Jo
6. Jody Evans
7. Casey Simpson
8. Justin David (horrible attitude and two bad performances in a row)
I "win" again. Christy left this week. Next up, Justin???
