    Anastasia Brown, Judge

Unfortunately, no picture or bio is available. She is the wife of Universal South's head honcho (Tony Brown), and not much is public about her.

Anastasia Brown started her music career as legendary music mogul Miles Copeland's partner and director of operations for Firstars Nashville and proceeded to discover, develop and secure record deals (Warner Brothers and later Capitol) and the agency (CAA) for the current CMA Male Vocalist, Grammy nominated, and multi-platinum artist, Keith Urban. She also worked with artists ranging from Sting, Peter Frampton, John Berry and Junior Brown. As VP of A&R for Ark 21 Nashville, Anastasia served as executive producer for Waylon Jennings' "Closing In On The Fire," securing guest artists Sting, Sheryl Crow and Mark Knopfler as well as Leon Russell's "Legend In My Time" with guest artists Willie Nelson, Marty Stuart and The Oakridge Boys. As A&R coordinator she also worked on compilation records such as the Christmas album, "Mother & Child" (Martina McBride, Cece Winans, Amy Grant, Olivia Newton-John, Belinda Carlisle, Beth Nielsen Chapman) and the tribute record to Hank Marvin and The Shadows, "Twang," (Neil Young, Mark Knopfler, Peter Frampton, Keith Urban, Stewart Copeland, Bela Fleck.)

After making her mark in the Nashville music industry, Brown expanded her horizons serving as music supervisor on the Steven Spielberg and Leslie Bohem produced, winner of 2003 Emmy Award for Outstanding Miniseries and Golden Globe-nominated "Taken." As executive producer, she also secured the "Taken" soundtrack record deal featuring an original recording by Emmylou Harris and music from Bob Dylan, Jackson Browne, Brenda Lee and Buddy Miller to name a few. With numerous other projects under her belt, she now heads up 821 Music Group and partners with Eric Geadlemann in the 821 Entertainment Group. Represented by CAA, she is currently serving as co-music supervisor with Howard Parr on the Quentin Tarantino produced feature, "Daltry Calhoun," (Johnny Knoxville, Juliette Lewis, Elizabeth Banks) for Miramax. In addition, she's augmenting her music expertise by producing the life story of Hank Williams, Sr., with the working title "Hank" and starring Patrick Wilson, it is currently in pre-production.

Wouldn't that be "young" wife? Isn't Mr. Brown well into his 60's?
