She's got quite the entrepreneurial spirit. She has her own product line of gift items that are unrelated to her music. It's too bad she withdrew from the competition. I'd be curious to see if she can actually sing.

I read on the USA Nashville Star board that Stephanie withdrew because of Sony Music would claim rights to songs that contestants wrote for a specific period of time. Stephanie already has several songs that she wrote that are getting lots of airplay on Texas radio stations currently.
I was sad to see her withdraw, I really wanted an opportunity to see her on the show.

Oh shoot! What a shame. Yeah, I imagine you really have to sign your whole life away to pursue an opportunity like Nashville Star.

I wonder if that's the same story for the other contestant that withdrew.

Zhora, the other guy who withdrew was Levi Kreis. On his website it said that he withdrew because he has a promising deal in the works with another company in NY. Here is the link to his website where it talks about this:
