Hey! Just wondering if anyone else knows someone who made it to round 2? One of my friends did and I hope he makes it farther. He has an awesome voice and he's also in a band called the Broken Cowboys here in Kansas City....So watch out for Noe (no-e) this season!

I don't know anyone who auditioned (although I *do* know someone who auditioned for AI this year and made it pretty far, but not all the way

).

John, I have listened to the music on her website & she is very talented

Our 'hometown girl' Sheila Greenland (from Lincoln, NE) made it to the Los Angeles regionals, but didn't advance from there.
All the finalists are really, really good; this show should be just as fantastic as it was last season. I can't wait!!

As much as I dislike country music, AI could take several notes from Nashville Star. They do things right, right from the start, and it shows in the quality of their finalists. Buddy Jewell is one talented guy, and JAM is as well. I wouldn't have wanted to have to choose a winner between those 2, that's for sure.

I'm floored by the activity and response to Nashville Star. I'm just now getting to reading some of the posts.

The excitement generated by fans of reality television and, specifically our show, has lead, in great part, to my getting singed to Dualtone Records in Nashville, distributed by Sony. My single, "Home Made of Stone," should be at country radio soon; I'm in the process of completely the album which will be release in mid-spring. Thanks to you and all who've so intelligently responded to Nashville Star.

Mississippi native Richie Jones is one of the least talked about NS2 semi-fnialists and will definitely be a talen to contend with. Good Old Country they way it ought to be. Some many awesomely talented finalists! Good Luck to the Judges. GO RICHIE JONES!
