| Nashville Star USA is starting a music competition show for up and coming country music singers.I know most of the people on this site hate country music but i think it might be worth watching. Here is a link to the official site: http://www.usanetwork.com/specials/nashvillestar/

| That's actually really interesting. It will be interesting to see what kind of response it gets. I'm not really a fan of country music, but I think it could be intriguing to see how it is produced. Just a warning, USA Networks does a crappy job of promoting shows so it might not do very well even if it is good...

| tvj, we've got a couple of posts about it further down the list. Audition info and such. I'm not a country music fan, for the most part, but here are some things I like about this show versus AI: 1) You can use a guitar 2) You can sing original songs Things I don't like: 1) Auditions are done through participating radio stations 2) It's on USA, which means it'll get low numbers and bad promotion Of course, we'll be probably covering it, if we can find a recapper. | |
