Great show so far! I was cracking up throughout, but I loooved the "boardroom" grilling and defense.

THAT was driving me nuts the whole show... she looked so familiar to me. I think a synapse in my brain actually misfired and probably burned up some important memory cell as I tried desperately to place her.

Pretty good show, much better than I expected actually. I told my wife as soon as the guy said there was a "real boss" that would be doing the firings it had to be a monkey or an eight year old so I though it was pretty funny coming here and seeing some of you saying the same thing.

I think the "boss" is a magic 8-ball! LOL!

Nice to see a show actually set in Chicago! Love to see stuck on themselves yuppies make complete idiots of themselves, too!

The whole reason I am drawn into this is 'cause I know that in real life these people think they're really, really hot stuff. Can you imagine how self-absobed and self-promoting they must have been during the application process? Fox probably picked those with the biggest egos.

. . . and now we get to watch them make complete idiots of themselves!

I don't think it is an impossibility of the real boss being Trump. After all, Mark Burnett has shows on both CBS and NBC, so having one on Fox wouldn't be that far out. As much as I'd like to see that twist, I do agree, it is highly unlikely. Chicago... let's see, male Chicago billionaires...

Sam Zell - real estate investment mogul, #100 of Forbes rich list
Lester Crown - defense contractor/airplane manufacturing

That was a really funny opening episode. Dead-on parody of the Apprentice. I wonder if any of the contestants thought it couldn't be a "real" reality show because it's so much like the Apprentice that Fox would get sued?

I think the Real Boss will turn out to be Fox owner Rupert Mudock.

I doubt they'd get sued, as long as they didn't use the copyrighted phrases that NBC has for The Apprentice. I noticed they were very careful about how they said everything last night.

If those El tracks are the ones over where I think they are, that's directly across the street practically from a police station!

Not "Chicago's roughest neighborhood," but still kinda desolate over there, and definitely dirty. The homeless brigade goes thru there a lot.

I'll also add that I found NONE of these pompous people remotely likable, so I'm just going to sit back and enjoy every inch of humiliation Fox can think of!
