How Much Money

I have been arguing with my brother all day about how much money was paid out. I say that Randi got 500K and her family got 500K for a total of 1 million. The only money Steve or his family got was the salary they were paid by the production company. My brother says that Randi got 1 million and her family got 500K totalling 1.5 million total pay out. He feels that since it was stated that Steve was to get half of the money on the first episode and since he said on the last show that he was hired that his half of the pot would then go to Randi.
Can anyone tell me exactly how much money did Randi get?

You are the one that is correct! (as usual)

Two checks were made out..one to Randi, and one to her family to split among themselves.

Who knows what the actors got...as far as we know, they only got paid salary.
