| Randi and Steven on The View Randi and Steve were on The View this morning. Steve did most of the talking - pretty much the same stuff as on other interviews explaining the plot, how its just a practical joke, etc. Randi did mention that the whole drama about her being a teacher was blown out of proportion and she still writes to some of the kids and talks to some of the parents. |

| Thanks DJeterFan ... I hate I missed this. I'm glad to see that Randi may be doing some of the promos after the show. Wonder if she will be on any of the talk shows tomorrow? | |

| From her school, Clayalltheway? It my understanding that it's her first year of teaching, and she took a leave of absense at Thanksgiving and didn't return. Eventually she called the headmaster (or someone) and officially resigned. They didn't fire her, but they might not have renewed her contract next year. | |

I don't know of too many jobs where you can just leave for a few months without a word to anyone, and expect to keep your job- especially if 30 students and their parents are depending on you to be there and teach their children. I don't think they fired her- she actually resigned before they did- but I think they would have been right if they had. | |

| As a teacher, I can understand a principal's hesititation to want a "celebrity" teaching the students. She was teaching at a Catholic school, yet she was blatantly lying to her friends and family on TV. When teaching young kids about character, how do you justify the difference between a lie and a practical joke? Teacher's are under a microscope - fair or not... It's a choice.

| Maybe at the time the show was taped ..she knew she would have some money and did not really care to rush back to teaching. She said she resigned. Now she can take all the time she wants. ![]()

| There was a quick clip of Randi on Entertainment Tonight, saying that she and Steve are good friends and she's been out to dinner with he and his wife. (His real wife.)
