Actually, Steve being married may have an interesting effect on what he can and can't do on the show. On a scripted show, an actor can always tell his wife, "Honey, it was in the script." However, on an improv program such as this, Steve may be limited to just trying to quick kisses with Randi. Maybe they should have picked a single guy. | |

| Or just had a "My Obnoxious Fiance"..instead of including the "Big Fat" part. It's a bit crude, imo. Honestly...even if the guy wasn't "larger", but was unpolished, rude, obnoxious...it would still be a problem for my family.

| I think the "My Big Fat" part of the title of this show is in reference to the "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" as that was a very popular movie, and this show is riding on that connection. I think Randi's horror would have been the same with being paired a thin, greasy, uncouth guy with a mullet, so it's not just about "size". Then the mullet people would be all mad at Fox, and Fox can't afford that, not with NASCAR starting up again on the network soon. I'm kidding. No hate mail. Mullets and NASCAR rule!

| Yes, I agree LG about the Greek Wedding analogy... but with this show, they ARE referring to Steve as the "big fat"...but with the movie, the "Big Fat" referred to how big the wedding party was. I think a mulleted guy would have been way more hilarious, imo! "My Obnoxious Mulleted Fiance"....it would look a lil like this... ![]() Tell me you wouldn't tune in!??! ![]()
