As much as I dislike Boyonce, I am glad to see she look horrified when the camera went to her during Kanye's d -bag moment there. I just thank Kanye for reminding my why I hate him.

Sorry for the double post but I just had to post what Kelly Clarkson had put on her blog...had to make adjustments for her language! LOL

    Dear Kanye,

What happened to you as a child?? Did you not get hugged enough?? Something must have happened to make you this way and I think we’re all just curious as to what would make a grown man go on national television and make a talented artist, let alone teenager, feel like sh**. I mean, I’ve seen you do some pretty shi**y things, but you just keep amazing me with your tactless, ass**** ways. It’s absolutely fascinating how much I don’t like you. I like everyone. I even like my ass**** ex that cheated on me over you…which is pretty odd since I don’t even personally know you. The best part of this evening is that you weren’t even up for THIS award and yet you still have a problem with the outcome. Is winning a moon man that much of a life goal?? You can have mine if it will shut you up. Is it that important, really??

I was actually nominated in the same category that Taylor won and I was excited for her…so why can’t you be?? I’m not even mad at you for being an asshole…I just pity you because you’re a sad human being.

On a side note, Beyonce has always been a class act and proved again tonight that she still is. Go TEXAS!!

Taylor Swift, you outsell him ….that’s why he’s bitter. You know I love your work! Keep it up girl!

I'm in agreement here with everyone about Kayne and I am so glad Beyonce let Taylor have her moment.

The highlight of the night for me was seeing Mark from So You Think You Can Dance in one of the musical performances.

I like his music too but I'm glad that he won nothing tonight. I remember when they banned Andrew Dice Clay after he uttered profanities on the show. I doubt the same penalty will be given to Kanye

    Kelly Clarkson

Overlooking the whole Kanye/TSwift fiasco, these VMAs were awesome! The few VMAs that I have seen have been complete duds. I think the first one I witnessed was the award show after the one with Madonna kissed Britney and Christina. I would long for a VMA show that looked like the ones I saw clips of during VH1 summary shows about memorable award show moments or memorable red carpet moments. They looked awesome back then. I remember when they were held in Miami, when Diddy would host--I felt like I was watching some other boring award show. The VMAs are supposed to be fun, but I hadn't seen that until now.

The performances were amazing. The MJ tribute was nice and well-done. As weirded out as I was by Lady Gaga, that will be a performance to remember. Seeing P!nk fly up in the air during her whole performance will also be a memorable one. I already said this before, but I really love how Taylor Swift is bringing country to MTV. I also liked Jay-Z & Alicia Keys at the end of the show and, of course, Beyonce doing her Single Ladies dance. Everyone killed it. (No comment on Green Day, since I was unforunately not paying attention.)

The winners were deserving. A few semi-shockers for me (TSwift over Beyonce or even Lady Gaga, TI over Eminem), but I still felt that they were deserving. And I was glad to see Beyonce get the Video of the Year. Like I said, love it or hate it, that video will go down as one to remember. Forever.

And I got to give it out to Beyonce. I've always liked her, even though it seems that a majority of people don't. But that was such a class act. As lame as this sounds, I got goosebumps when she called out TSwift's name. I just thought it was so sweet. And I expected her to give her acceptance speech after TSwift, but she didn't say a word. She just went up in my books.

I watched the beginning of the show to watch the MJ tribute and ended up watching most of the first hour.

Loved Madonna's "eulogy" of sorts. I thought that was pure Madonna and it honored him well. Loved the first part of the tribute as well. But Janet? For ONCE in the last decade you would have thought that she could bother to sing live, even if during only a small portion. *sigh*

Loved Taylor Swift's subway performance. That was really fun and very well done.

    Love love love Green Day.

Lady Gaga. Russell Brand's opening bit about her in his monologue was shockingly in your face (okay.. not so shockingly, considering the source) but she didn't even miss a beat. And then the Paparazzi performance? Stunning. I wasn't sure whether I felt it was inappropriate considering the ongoing accusations that the public killed Michael Jackson and how Janet summed it up with her performance... but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I think it's a shame that Lady G feels that she needs to be a freakshow personality because she totally doesn't need it.. she's that talented. That performance demonstrated it.

Various celebs have lashed out against West on Twitter, including Pink, who had to be escorted away from the rapper by security.
Love it! I knew he wouldn't have pulled that crap had Pink won the award.
