This was the best quote of the night on Twitter

"No need for gay sex tonight. I just witnessed Liza Minnelli dancing to "Let the Sun Shine" on the Tonys."

Liza's at the Palace wins Best Special Theatrical Event. Liza is confused but ecstatic on stage.

It was probably smart of the producers to put Will Ferrell on stage before this category came up; I can only imagine the ad-libbing he would have done if he went ono to present something after losing.

Now a number from Guys & Dolls, one of my favorite shows of all time. Reviews for this revival haven't been that good. I saw the version with Nathan Lane and Faith Prince in the early-mid 90s. That was a fantastic show. They did this same number on theTonys that year, too. It was much better than this one.

Again with the sound problems! They had to hand Nicely Nicely Johnson a hand-mike to sing. How's he going to dance now?

And why has this number turned into a gospel showcase for the singer? Dear Gawd, this looks like a parody of the show, not a revival.

(I'm sorry if I'm so cynical tonight, they just never seem to know how to put their best foot forward on this show every year)

Wish they were doing Fugue for Tinhorns. My favorite number from Guys and Dolls. Never really cared for Sit Down You are Rocking the Boat. But they are doing it well.

NPH is backstage doing shots with Brett Michaels

He mostly leads us to commercials and tells us to come back.
