| Cleaning songs No, not songs about cleaning. But rather what are good songs to listen to while you are cleaning? I think I need to add some new ones. I actually don't even mind cleaning the house when I'm by myself and can crank up the stereo to those songs that make you want to dance. I think dancing is key to cleaning the house. It makes it fun, and it burns some extra calories too! ![]() So....any suggestions? In my current rotation I have: Dancing Queen Call Me One Way, or the Other I Will Survive Those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head.

| Ok, call me crazy--this is NOT the kind of music I usually like, but...when I'm cleaning, I like to put on old country. Like Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Dwight Yoakam...really twangity twang stuff. Oh, and The Knitters...love them. Or, if I'm not in a country mood, I put on Violent Femmes. ![]() |

| I HAVE to listen to songs when i'm cleaning; whether it's the radio or a CD. The songs should be lively & upbeat. |

| Something loud, upbeat that I can sing a long too... I love dancing around & singing out loud when I clean ... lol. Fast 50s-60s rock'n roll like Lucky Lips, Jailhouse Rock, La Bamba, Reet Petite, Rockin' Robin, Splish Splash .... etc ... those are GREAT to clean to!!! :-) Brian Setzer ... almost anything by him (not "Sleepwalk" though.. lol) Carlene Carter: Every Little Thing Actually I eventually put together a cd with all her fast paced songs & cleaned to that one.
