    i agree completely. i don't understand the fascination with this woman either.

    and while she was singing, i couldn't help but think what simon from american idol would say about her. i thought she was horrible and some of the AI rejects sang better than she did.

    Simon would say whatever got him the most press, of course.

    This is a guy who apparently defended the singing of the freaking Spice Girls, because it got him some ink in the British tabloids. So he's not always about who's "best".

    i was meaning, if instead of singing on the grammy's, she was auditioning for AI. looking at her with that eye, she wasn't much better (and actually worse) than most of the rejects.
