Hmm, I am a huge fan of musicals, do they count? My family thinks I'm weird for loving Andrew Lloyd Webber songs.

Barbara Streisand and Kenny Rogers too... My husband laughs at me everytime I put the Kenny Roger's CD in!

You guys caught me. I was listening to both Jesus Christ Superstar yesterday and Phantom of the Opera. I don't mention Webber often as people with "supposed" taste ridicule his music and me for listening to it. I say supposed taste as I think music like art is subjective. You like what you like, doesn't matter what it is.
I have a friend that thinks its funny I listen to George Jones too. I think it's funny that she listens to techno music, so we're even.

I'm an Andrew Llloyd Webber fanatic!

My current fave is the musical Titanic.

Color me dumb, I didn't know there was a musical Titanic.

We are getting the touring Broadway shows of South Pacific and Chicago here this fall. I would really, really, really like to go see South Pacific. I would like to see Chicago too, but if I had to pick one, it would be South Pacific. My husband hates musicals, so maybe I'll go by myself (cheaper that way too. )

But I love musicals, especially the older ones like South Pacific.

I've never noticed this topic, too fun.

I am enjoying piano solo music, from classical piano to George Winston, and it's often accompanied with a glass of wine while I'm cooking dinner for the family. Lovely.

Christian Rock. Some of it is really very good & has a positive message about life to it.

I know, I know, you're probably rolling your eyes as you read this.

The few times I've admitted it people have tended to go deadly quiet, as if I'm about to pull out a bible & preach to them, or judge them on their faults.

Honestly, I'm not a bible thumper. I'm as corrupt as the rest of you, but some of the music is really good.

    I'm with you Miss Scarlet!
I'm not even of Christian Faith but some of that music is just darn uplifting and good for making the warm n fuzzies.
