If you like Incubus, Drive is one of their best, IMO.

Since you like dance music, let me suggest (Let Me) Blow Your Mind by Eve and Gwen Stefani. Kind of old now, but it's still a fave of mine.

You know what's a great song? "Another Brick In The Wall Part 2" by Pink Floyd. It's so creepy, and I never get sick of it.

A Sorta Fairytale by Tori Amos, even if you aren't a fan, it's a great song. There's a shorter radio edit and a longer album version (from her upcoming album October 29th, yay!)

Well, I don't know what kind of songs you like but I love "Drops of Jupiter" by Train.

I recently made a CD myself. Here are some of the songs I put on it:

Was by Kenny Wayne Shepherd - one of the very best tunes I've ever heard as far as making active use of the subwoofer in a real driving, forceful way; it's a great workout tune

Real World by Matchbox 20 - kind of overplayed (like most of their hits), but I love these guys, and this is one of my favorites of theirs

Jump Around by House of Pain - my 2-year-old and 4-year-old love this song, too. We listened to it all the way to Utah and back last summer, and I STILL love the song

Tainted Love by Soft Cell - a classic

Twilight Zone by Golden Earring

Beds are Burning by Midnight Oil

Policy of Truth by Depeche Mode - my favorite song of theirs, bar none

Long Cool Woman - The Hollies - you might not like it; it's reminiscent of CCR, and it's not as fast as the others, but it's pretty good; I like to listen to it at night when I'm sitting by myself thinking about life

Hope some of those help.

jumpin jumpin
she ain't got the boom
music
hella good
dirrty
seven
days go by
scrubs
(there are more, but i'll move on)

here's a few more good tunes... but not necessarily on the same cd.

i wish - stevie wonder
comfortable - john mayer
walking in memphis - marc cohn
nina gordon - hold on to me
my favorite mistake - sheryl crow (i can think of my fave mistake, no problem... makes me smile. totally awesome mistake)

and some new faves of mine:

bother - corey taylor from stone sour
flake - jack johnson

oh, and mdrio... HUGE beatles fan... don't need to throw them on a compilation. they stand alone.
