Come to think of it, practically all of my favourite music makes me cry :-) Here are a few real tear jerkers:

    Philadelphia - Neil Young
He Stopped Loving Her Today - The George Jones version as well as the Johnny Cash one
Hallelujah & Lilac Wine - Jeff Buckley
I Wish I Never Saw the Sunshine - Beth Orton
I Envy The Wind & Overtime - Lucinda Williams (or indeed any of her slower stuff. No one can make me cry like Lucinda. And that's a good thing)
Sweet Old World - Emmylou Harris
Love Hurts - Gram Parsons & Emmylou Harris
    Another No-One - Suede
On Your Own Again - Scott Walker
"There's more to life than books, you know, but not much more" (Morrissey)

Amy Grant, I think the song is called "Grown up Christmas wish" I don't even know all the words, but the message and the feel of it...then you throw in the holidays and forget it...I'm a mess!!

I agree, Fade Into You is a wonderful song. That entire Mazzy Star album is perfect for rainy autumn nights. I really like Hope Sandovals's solo album as well.

Saving All My Love For You -- Whitney Houston
Hold on To The Nights -- Richard Marks
    Miss Misery -- Elliot Smith
Summer Wind -- Frank Sinatra (my grandparents loved this)
    Tiny Dancer -- Elton John
    I'd Rather Be Dreaming
    Colorblind -- Counting Crows
