| Have you been to a Josh Groban concert? Husband and I are going this weekend ![]() It's sort of a Valentine event I suppose. Anyway, I have never been to the place the concert is going to be. Even though I grew up 40 minutes from it. *Turning stone casino and resort* It looks online to be a pretty high end concert hall. I am afraid of being either over, or under dressed for the occasion. I want to dress nice, because this is the nicest thing we have ever gone to (aside from our own wedding) But will I look silly all glammed up like it's a night out at the opera or something, and then everyone else is 1 step above street clothes? Or the other way around... If you have been to a JG concert, what was your experience like? Thanks ![]()

| I went to Josh Groban concert on his last tour and will be going to one at the end of next month. The first concert I went to was in The Shrine Auditorium and I saw everything from jeans and t shirts to formal gowns and tuxedos. So I think that you would be safe no matter what you dressed in. I myself got dressed up just because of the venue. This year I am going to be in the back row of the back section of the Staples Center...so I will be dressed down.

| While I've never been to one, I would base my attire on the venue. I would love to see Josh Groban in concert. I have his first 2 albums and am looking forward to getting his newest one.

| Not even close. It was amazing. I cried ![]() I'd fall asleep at a God awful hardcore concert though. Well, it's more like my brain shuts down, so wake me when it's over. *bleck*

I am so glad that you had a great time. I agree on the not falling asleep part. His music and performance style is so compelling, as is his interaction with the audience, he loves to change things up.

| I'm jealous. I would love to see him in concert. For now I will have to settle for playing his CDs in my car. *sigh*

| A Few Pictures Well I wasn't joking when I said I was the back row. Right in the center too. Here are a couple of pictures that I took with my camera. Obviously Josh is the tiny dot when he is out on the stage This is the view of the sold out Staple Center: ![]() This would be Josh popping out onto the stage at the very beginning to sing You Are Loved: ![]() Random shot of one of the light spectacles that went on with a song: ![]() This is the closest that Josh got to me. He started singing the song that has the lyrics I am not a hero....yeah I forget the title at this spot and walked his way to stay singing the whole way and shaking hands. I did actually get some crowd shots on zoom there. ![]() ![]() It was a great show. A far cry from my spectacular seats at the last concert, but as it was sold out I was very lucky to just get in there.

| Awww. Bummer about the seats. But I wouldn't have passed them up though! We were practically spitting distance. We didn't bring any cameras or any such thing in because we did not want to get in trouble... then it turns out that it was totally allowed or something, because we were pretty much the only people there not snapping pics or videos in some way or another. ![]()

| I always check with the venue before going to a concert. Staples never allows video recorders but they allow certain cameras, it is all based on lens size and stuff like that. The person in front of me tried to get in a video camera. I could have told them that wouldn't work, but I didn't see it until they searched her bag.
