They canceled last years show around here, which really upset me. I will probably go this year. Last time I saw Ozzy was in the 80's. I've seen Manson a bunch of times puts on a great show. Ive seen Chevelle in a small club when they toured for there first album, pretty good.

I last saw Ozzy in the mid-90's, and haven't seen any of the other bands, although Ozzfest sounds like a lot of fun.

    I've seen Ozzy/Sabbath so many times I can't count.
    He is amazing in concert.
As sick as he seems to be now (I do not say that in a mean way I feel bad for him)
he can still put on a good show and sing very well.
I hope he sticks to what he said about retirement though.
I'd like to see him go out on top.
So, where's the Cannes Film Festival being held this year?

I think when your concert tours are bringing in tens of millions per year, it's hard to think in a serious way about retirement.

But yes, it's amazing to see the way he acts in interviews and on his show, versus how he acts in concert. I think he musters up every last ounce of energy for each performance.

I have never been to a heavy metal concert, but I can say my husband has converted me to a headbanger, so this year I'm going to Ozzfest on my first heavy metal concert. I'm really excited & he's even more excited than me that he managed to get me this far LOL.....
I'm at the point where I crave Ozzy & Van Halen daily and he's mighty proud of himself.

    I'm excited, can't wait.....

Exactly. No one should deprive themselves of Ozzy.

    what John said

    p.s

I think the Ozzfest would still do well if Ozzy retires. He did say he was going to.
