Grammys 2007 Awards - Page 3

I'll watch for The Police this year but I've found in recent years the type of music showcased for the live performances, as well as many of the nominees, is not my cup of tea so I don't tune in anymore. One year it seemed rap music dominated the whole show and although I like some rap, I barely recognized any of the music or artists. I appreciate each genre of music, I just don't care to listen to a whole show of music that's not my taste. But I also recognize my favorites can't win all the time and that the new artists will one day be someone else's old favorite.

The rumour is that Beyonce and Shakira will be performing a duet. I don't know if the stage can handle all the gyrating that is bound to happen.

It really is, i can't wait to hear the version with Shakira on it, and to see it (possibly) be performed tonight.

Anybody watching now? Natalie Manes of the Dixie Chicks doesn't look very good in that dark hair.

The Dixie Chicks just blew The Police off of the stage. They were so much better than Sting & Co.

I thought the Dixie Chicks were fantastic.
I love that song.
Did I see the Red Hot Chilli Peppers' drummer playing with them?

Oh dear, I'm not too thrilled at the prospect of Beyonce and Shakira.
One dose of Beyonce this evening is more than enough for me.
Can't stand her voice.

I change the channel anytime Beyonce comes on my screen. Also, i saw the pic of pcd on the red carpet, boy i hope that Joan & Melissa lets them have it. Jeez! They were the rainbow and not in a good way.

I enjoyed the Dixie chicks and actually like Corinne Bailey Rae's performance, maybe it's more the song?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who isn't enamoured of Beyonce.
I don't see what all the fuss is about Mary J Blige either.
I'm not keen on her voice at all.

oh for goodness sake! Shakira(I love her) is doing the same damn performance yet again! What is this? I already saw this at the mtv video music awards. Please stop rewinding the tape, Shakira.
