Gabriel, I agree with you, but I think the poster you're quoting might be pretty young (sorry, realityfan, if I'm jumping to the wrong conclusion), and in this culture, our kids grow up seeing and hearing gay people be ostracized, ridiculed, discriminated against, and dismissed - so it's their natural reaction to be oh so shocked when a (pretty obviously) gay guy comes out - especially when he has been packaged and marketed as a little stud.
I just don't see how everyone didn't know after his appearances at Kathy Griffin's house that he's gay... Honestly, I find him more interesting now than I did before. How weird to live the lifestyle of girls throwing themselves at you and having to keep how you feel quiet.
I wonder if his bandmates knew the whole time?
I wonder how I've been brainwashed to use the word "band" for a group of singer/dancers with no instruments...
