Is anyone else laughing at the fact that Eminem has filed for divorce from his wife already?? They made it 2.5 months...

Why they ever got back together is beyond me... there was absolutely no love lost in that relationship.

But in a way, it's really sad because Hailee has to go through her parents divorcing again. I feel really sorry for that kid.

His music is going downhill, his last album IMO was bad. I just don't think he has the anger/fire he had that made the past albums good.

I happen to love Eminem....I love the song he has out right now "Shake that a**"....you can't help but bop your head to that song whenever you hear it.....I do have to make sure my 13 year old son only hears the radio friendly versions of his songs and I may not agree with everything he says but he does make some valid points in his music....

I'm was very sorry to hear about his 2nd divorce from Kim but I've always gotten the impression she was bad news...

Eminem's rap style is flawless IMHO. People who talk bad about him have probably not heard his underground music. His freestyling skills are amazing and the rhymes are just brilliant. I love his music.

Okay, since this thread has been revived, and I've read my former opinion about Eminem, I figured I needed to update myself.

At the time, I hated Eminem, and I DID say that I'd only heard one of his songs. Since then, one of the members here sent me a compilation CD of Eminem, encouraging me to give it a fair shot before using it for skeet practice.

I did that, and started LIKING Eminem, and respecting his abilities and fairly unique abilities. I've since gotten many other Eminem songs, and I do like him and listen to him regularly. I've also broadened my musical range, and have also started to listen to other rap and hip-hop, as well as many other types of music I used to "not like".

I've found that even though the actual lyrics of a song may be objectionable (for example, Eminem's rants about homosexuality or violence), I can still enjoy the song and talent behind it.

John.....isn't it great that our opinions can change when we are exposed to something?? I'm just as guilty of saying I don't like something when I haven't really given it a chance.....
