| I have to add, I do like him on the radio. I do not like the cds and glad my daughter is not too interested in buying them. They're a little over the top

Heh, I like the albums better; I have no issues with profanity and would rather hear the actual word than a scramble or a blank-out. I did think it was funny that the radio version of "My Name Is" had "I just drank a fifth of Kool-aid" rather than the original "I just drank a fifth of vodka." Too funny. Sometimes it's fun to rap along with Eminem and spew tons of venemous words. It's a great way to vent. ![]()

I think Eminem is great on a variety of levels. First, I really enjoy the FU attitude. I think its hilarious that he's taken so seriously, especially his satire, yet, his big gimmick is angering all the pansies that take offense at his music. Secondly, I appreciate his ability to express himself. He is able to relate specific feelings very well and many times he does it in a story--reminiscent of some of the other 'greats' at storytelling. Finally, he is a classic example of the American dream that determination and hard work equal success.

Part of the reason why he's so famous is because he was found by Dr Ray(Is that the right spelling?) Dr Ray was a BIG rapper back then and he found eminem, missy elliot etc. He's a big backing for starting artists.

Well, I used to like his music more when I was in junior high (My Name Is and such)...but I'm not really into rap anymore. He's alright, I guess. Just not my cup of tea! ![]()

I kind of like him . The music/beat is quite "catching", and after I had heard a documentary about him on the radio I started to appreciate the lyrics too (though, I have to say that it's quite hard for me to hear what he says most of the time).
