Heard of westlife?

But just asking, have you all heard of Westlife?

They are this big big big boyband here is asia and in UK. They have 11 number 1s in UK but none in america. In fact, they haven't even gotten into america.

I lived in Belgium for a year so actually I have heard of Westlife, but that's probably the only reason!

Oh god, yes I have. Like Matt said, they're big in the UK in Asia. Trust me on this one: the US is not missing anything.

Hey. Haven't been in here for quite a while. Anyway, everyone should have heard of Westlife now, whether you like em or hate em. I mean, they have notched up i think 11 or 12 number one's already. Almost all of their hit singles went to no.1 in the UK, something like the spice girls. They are famous all throughout the world, even here in Asia. But I fear that their popularity will diminish, as most well known boy bands and girl bands will eventually split.

Remember the Spice girls , Five and Destiny's Child, although they haven't split up, but are doing well in their solo careers??

Matt, they haven't had a number 1 in the States yet, but they managed to enter the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100 Singles a few years back with 'Swear It Again'.

Leo, I have to agree with you when you say that US is not missing anything. I used to be quite a big fan of theirs, but lately their music has been getting rather boring, monotonous you could say. They keep releasing ballads, which all sound the same to me now that I don't really like them anymore.

Their first album was my favourite. I bought their second and third ones and only listened to both of them once.

Blue is the 'in thing' now. I wonder what the future has in store for Westlife.
