I personally never liked them. The only reason I ever listened to them was they were my ex's favorite boy band (this was a few years ago).

And I swear it all over again~

I much prefer Blue and BBMak, but some of Westlife's earlier songs are quite good and can be considered as classics.

Yep. I agree, but I don't fancy boy bands that much

I've got to agree with the fact that Westlife is not as good as before. It seems to me that they are turning jazz?

However, I feel that Blue's reign will not be long. Their music is not as unique from their first album; they all sound the same.

I received this audio card from Mark Westlife via www.westlife.co.uk (I forgot I signed up as a member quite some time ago!) and the recorded message in that audio card was "How's it going? I'm Mark from Weslife and I think you look totally gorgeous today!"

Hehe. I used to be a big fan of theirs, but I actually haven't visited their official website for at least two years! I'm surprised they haven't taken away my membership yet.

    Yup, so unoriginal.

Anyway, I was a big fan of Westlife. Had all their cds. Considering I don't buy cds to begin with, they were my favourites for quite a while.

    But I grew up . They're okay.

I thought the message was pretty cute... Corny, but cute.

    Heh heh.

Nah, I'm over my Westlife obssession. Yes, I used to be really obssessed with them, but that was when I was twelve years old!

I haven't heard them, but I'd be curious to hear them, because I understand that they were the first to record Flying Without Wings, which is Ruben Studdard's first single. It'd be interesting to compare versions.

They had a pretty big hit here in the states with "swear it again"... remember it was sumthin like:

I never wanna treat you bad cuz I never wanna make you sad
I swear to share the joy and the pain
And I'd swear it all over again (or something to that effect)

Also, yeah they did "flying without wings" first
