    I can't believe this song was nominated. I don't think i've ever heard a more vulgar song on the radio. Even with th words bleeped out, its sickening.

    From what I understand, best album is for the entire album. Song is the best single in terms of artistic merit. Record is for the single with the best artistic merit in combination with its production values such as the video and such.
