| Kristin Hoffmann I meant to post about Kristin Hoffmann a while ago so I apologize for not getting the info to you sooner. I saw her back in June when she opened for The Wallflowers. Kristin is from NYC and has just signed with Interscope. Kristin's newest CD "Real" was released to online digital music providers September 20th!! and will available to retail stores on January 17, 2006. Check out her tunes here. Or you can check her out at MySpace be sure to add her as a friend. My favorites are "Bittersweet" and "Falling." I don't want to say she sounds like someone else but other people say she sounds like Fiona Apple, and Sarah. Take a listen and tell me what you think. I really think you all will like her music. She is filled with so much emotion which comes out so passionately in her songs and piano playing.  |

| So my FORT friends, I know a lot of you open this but don't read or reply. I would really appreciate it if you would take a second and vote for Kristin Hoffmann in the Who Will It Be?- 2006 Thanks. Kristin taped for an episode of Love Monkey which will air probably in Feb. or March. This is from her MySpace blog. I just got home from a day of taping for the new CBS show, "Love Monkey," which starts on January 17th! Last week they asked me to be a guest artist on an episode. So, bright and early this morning, I was picked up and taken to Brooklyn where they were filming a few scenes in the club, Galapagos. Although I've had a few songs in TV shows before, I've never been involved in the filming part, so it was a new experience! The main character in Love Monkey is a record exec, and he goes with friends to a music club one night, where I happen to be playing. They chose for me to play my song, "Rescue Me," an interesting pick. Most people would choose "Bittersweet," but the scene called for solo acoustic, so I guess "Rescue Me" made sense. It was a crazy experience to be on stage playing to a room full of extras and cameras! I think it's something you have to do a few times to get used to. I have to give kudos to the cast and crew today...I was amazed at the teamwork and how hard everyone worked to get about 10 minutes worth of film! All in all, it was a great day and I can't wait to see the end result! I'm not sure what episode I'm going to be in yet, but as soon as I know the date, I'll let everyone know. | Awe thanks Misskitty. Sadly, Love Monkey was put on the shelf before it could ever air. We're hoping it will still come back one day. The Y&R episode was great though. It fit so perfect. Yes, she has been superbusy lately. Which is always great. I think she's absolutely amazing. You know it's so hard to promote a new artist and to actually get someone to take the time to listen.
