Misheard lyrics

Now, I know I'm not the only one who ever listened to a song and thought the lyrics were saying one thing when it was actually something else. So let's hear people's experiences with this. A few right off the bat. In "Lucille" by Kenny Rogers, I always used to think he was singing "when 400 children are locked in a jail." When the actual words are "with 4 hungry children and a crop in the field." In "You don't Have to Say You Love Me" by Dusty Springfield, I thought she was singing "just because you can" when in actuality she was singing "just be close at hand."
That's just for starters. There are more which I will share later.

I have many but here's my personal favorite:

WRONG:

RIGHT:

When my son was 5,while traveling in the car he would sing along to the radio in the back seat. I would often turn down the volume to "catch him" midverse. Natalie Merchant was blasting and he was singing along-
wrong verse: I like to VACUUM VACUUM
Right verse: I'd like to Thank you, thank you.

Macy Grey lyrics - incorrect: I blow bubbles when you are not here......correct: My world crumbles when you are not near

I heard that CCR didn't even realize that everyone thought the lyrics were the bathroom on the right until they were singing a concert and that is what everyone sang.
A few of my favorites (and a big thank you and to my kids who are notorious for singing the wrong words)

Tim McGraw incorrect - "I like it, I love it, I want some more nuggets!"
correct - "I like it, I love it, I want some more of it!"

Josh Gracin- incorrect "breaker, breaker one nine- she's a big ole bird"
correct "breaker, breaker one nine, she's a big ole' flirt"

John Michael Montgomery: incorrect: "trying to find the courage to ask her out was like trying to get off on a water spout" (sorry- gross I know
correct: "trying to find the courage to ask her out was like trying to get oil from a water spout"

Another one that I can remember being teased about endlessly years ago by my best friend's sister who was a die hard Aerosmith fan:
Wrong lyric: Weird emotion
Right Lyric: Sweet Emotion
