ACE OF BASE - I Saw the Sign

For the longest time, I thought it went "I saw the sun, and it opened up my eyes I saw the sun"

    Nazareth's version of "Love hurts":
Wrong lyrics: Some cruel spoon and stand right there (which makes no sense at all)
Correct lyrics: Some fools fool themselves I guess
more wrong lyrics: Love is like a cloud or a black rain
Correct lyrics: Love is like a cloud; holds a lot of rain
Even more wrong lyrics (they should really learn to enunciate ): Believe on top; I know I've been onto
Correct lyrics: but even so; I know a thing or two

For those of you who understand French:
    Metallica's "The Unforgiven"
Wrong lyrics: Nous pondons des oeufs, et quick-quick ils sont durs
Correct lyrics:New blood joins this earth, and quickly he's subdued

Yes you are correct. It's Up Where We Belong by Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warnes.
Hurley: (holding up a Jesus statue) I don't know. I thought there might be a prowler or something.
Mrs. Reyes: (grabbing the statue) Jesus Christ is not a weapon! - LOST "There's No Place Like Home Pt. 1

Blinded by the light is The Classic Misheard lyric. As for REM, with their early stuff, it was all hard to hear what Stipe was saying. It wasn't until the 3rd album that he became intelligible.
Brass in Pocket, had a hard time with that. I always thought she was saying "Deetalening", but in fact she's saying "Detroit leaning", which doesn't illuminate things for me, but at least it's a word.

Call me stupid (well, okay, please don't call me stupid ) but I have a hard time understanding "nobody doesn't like Sara Lee" I go over it and over it, I dissect it word for word and it still does not make sense to me!!! Am I the only one?

    Blinded by the light
Revved up like a deuce, another runner in the night.
I was listening to that song today and I am willing to bet that the singer sang deuce like douche on purpose. There is clearly a sh at the end of duece!I don't know why he didn't sing it clearer.

It just means everybody does like Sara Lee. As in, there is "nobody" who "does not like Sara Lee". Does that help?
