WOW! That's so cool! I'd love to see them. I saw Stevie once, and she was wonderful.
That would be a good thing for them to cut on my tombstone: Wherever she went, including here, it was against her better judgment.

My favorite singer, though? Hm, not Bob Dylan. I really like beautiful female voices, which is why I really like Alison Krauss, though I wouldn't call her my favorite. I think the most beautiful, hypnotic voice I've ever heard is Niamh Kavanagh's. She really gets me. :spellbound
    Paulie,
I love Alison Krauss too! I think she sounds like an angel. I saw her on the same tour with Del McCoury, and she and her band did a great job! So did Emmy Lou Harris..love her...she's from here.

Do you have AK+US's live album, itsmetip? Just beautiful. I can't believe she's shy in front of crowds. With that voice, why would she ever be shy about showing it off?

BP, I don't know the answer, actually.

    :raises hand:

I THINK, I'm not sure though, it's Tori Amos.

Hey Paulie, here's an easy one for ya. Who's my favourite actor?
If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker.
It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.

No, I don't have the live album. What's the name of that one? I do have a few of theirs. The first one I got has a pic of her on the cover with long brown hair, and she's lost a lot of weight since then. She is one of those singers who makes me cry..truly an angelic voice imo, and I can't imagine why she'd ever be shy about it!

I think it's just called Alison Krauss + Union Station Live. It's a 2-CD set. I got it for Christmas, and I just love it. I also have New Favorite, which is very nice.

Thanks, guess I just missed that one altogether. I'll have to look for it. My husband is a big fan of hers too, and we have to make copies of everything so he won't steal them from me and put them in his car. New Favorite is GREAT. She is one of the rare ones that he and I completely agree on.

I would have to say one of my favourite solo singers would have to be Ozzy Osbourne. Not because his show is a hit( I was a fan long before anyone knew who he was). It's just If you sit down and listen to his ballads, you find a singer who is an excellent composer, powerful voice, and a sensitive side. Might I add Neil Diamond is awesome as well.
