The only song that has ever made me tear up is You're Missing, by Bruce Springsteen. First time I ever heard it, he sang it live on SNL. It's about 9/11. Very, very sad stuff. Beautiful song.

It never fails- The Boxer by Simon & Garfunkel. Paul Simon sang the song on the 2001 season premier of SNL and I was a wreck

Evaporated by Ben Folds Five, Songbird by Eva Cassidy... and, don't even get me started on Danny Boy!

Here are the lyrics to You're Missing by Bruce Springsteen. I just think it's so simple but so right when someone passes away (particularly with 9/11); everything is the same but that person is gone:

Shirts in the closet, shoes in the hall
Mama's in the kitchen, baby and all
    Everything is everything
    Everything is everything
    But you're missing

Coffee cups on the counter, jackets on the chair
Papers on the doorstep, but you're not there
    Everything is everything
    Everything is everything
    But you're missing

Pictures on the nightstand, TV's on in the den
Your house is waiting, your house is waiting
For you to walk in, for you to walk in
But you're missing, when I shut out the lights
You're missing, when I close my eyes
You're missing, when I see the sun rise
    You're missing

Children are asking if it's alright
Will you be in our arms tonight?

Morning is morning, the evening falls I got
Too much room in my bed, to many phone calls
    How's everything, everything?
    Everything, everything
    You're missing, you're missing

God's drifting in heaven, devil's in the mailbox
I got dust on my shoes, nothing but teardrops

"At This Moment" by Billy Vera (It was playing during an especially depressing moment of my life, and I couldn't stop crying. My eyes are tearing up now just thinking about it.)

"I'd Rather Be Alone" by Karyn White (because of the very little bit of the video I got to see, domestic violence statistics and all)
