"I am the greatest" by Kenny Rodgers

"Ave Maria" by the lady that sung it at my wedding....absolutely chilling, but beautiful

"Canon in D" played either by an orchestra or on a harp
America- love it or leave it!

Oh speedy... go you! Who knew such a heartless political mind loved power ballads???

How about "Think of Laura" by .... christopher cross and a song that I just posted in Amazing Lyrics: Here Comes the Flood by Peter Gabriel. Love them.

Good Lord...Why are all the sad songs country songs?? I know at the right time of the month I curl up with some good chocolate, tissues, and CMT for a couple of hours and get it all out of my system!!!

But I have the winner right here!! I don't know the artist, but the song is called "Feed Jake" it's about a dog...(sniff)...and one of the owners dies...(waaaaaa)...and old Jake, he's been a good dog...(sobbing hysterically)....

    Somebody hand me some chocolate...S.T.A.T.!!!!

I start crying everytime I hear this song. I think it is such a beautiful song. Plus, I love Five for Fighting.

This one has a lot of meaning for me - "The Promise" by When in Rome

Heh... I love that song. There's one by Ricky Skaggs that makes me absolutely SOB, but I cant think of the name so I havent posted it. Something about parents.... ?

Lyrics for Feed Jake by Pirates of the Mississippi.

I'm standing at the crossroads in life, and I don't know where to go.
You know you've got my heart babe, but my music's got my soul.
Let me play it one more time, I'll tell the truth and make it rhyme,
    And hope they understand me.

    REFRAIN
Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep.
If I die before I wake, feed Jake, he's been a good dog,
My best friend right through it all, if I die before I wake,
    Feed Jake

Now Broadway's like a sewer, bums and hookers everywhere.
Whino's passed out on the side walk, doesn't anybody care.
Some say he's worthless, just let him be.
But I for one would have to disagree.
    And so would their mama.

If you get an ear pierced, some will call you gay.
But if you drive a pick-up, they'll say 'No, he must be straight.'
What we are and what we ain't, what we can and what we can't,
    Does it really matter?
Never let the things you want make you forget about the things you have.

I just thought of another one that makes me cry.

"She Believes in Me" by Kenny Rogers.. it reminds me of one of my best friends from last year who doesn't speak to me anymore.. He always said that he supported me just like I'd been behind him.

"Putting the Damage On" - Tori Amos
    "The Rose" - Bette Midler

And depending on the circumstance or the mood I am in, "Amazing Grace" and "The Star Spangled Banner" both make me cry.
