What songs of hers are strong vocal performances, raindance?

And, I agree with you two, Fluff and John, Pink may be "out there", but she definitely has talent. She's another one that should have gotten more nominations than she did.

Pink also writes or co-writes many of her songs.

    I think she's really talented.

I definitely agree, Fluff. I have both of her CD's, and they're both good.

Why dont they just hand out the award to Springstein right now- you know he will win.
I wonder what old rock band or singer will release an album next year so they can win their grammy to make up for never receiving one before see Dylan, Sanatnna and more that I cant think of right now

Just give Eminem his best rap award to make up for not winning the main award. Not a big eminem fan but his music is catchy, has 2 of the bigest selling albums this year I guess they will just have him nominated to be there regular best rab album, then he will problay win for best album when he makes his comeback album when hes 40.

Norah Jones - will be the surprise here I think she will walk away with at least 2 if not 3 awards, very talented and something different then the rest of the lot

Why dont they just rename best song to most overplayed song of the year.

And thats enough of a rant I wont even touch rock or metal, they have been a shame since they first gave out the grammy for best metal band to jethro tull over Metallica back in the 80's. I still have no clue what voters were thinkin then.

I absolutely detest Springsteen and think you're absolutely right that he'll get the award - unfortunately.
It'll cause every music station to rerun old Springsteen concerts - ugh!!

Amen to that, Lobeck. And allow me to add a (blech) after Norah Jones as well.

    I actually like Avril.

    Haha...
Of course, Sk8er boi was IMHO, pretty corny -- (He was a skater boy, she said see you later boy..?). But I really liked 'I'm with you'. Very moving, if I may use that word.

I do think they will probably split up the awards and give all the new female artists this year an award. I think Michelle Branch will get new artist, Avril will get for pop or pop song, and Norah will get best female. Also I think No Doubt will get a group award.
